Mariaan Swim School have had the opportunity to teach at least 3,200 children water safety skills and capacitate at least 1,300 in all four strokes, since 1998.

Approximately three to four learners per instructor ensures professional, personal attention and teaching. Learners are grouped based on their age and/or swim capacity. Two instructors normally provide lessons simultaneously.

From experience, lessons are scheduled for a minimum of forty minutes (40 min) per week, per learner. Learners can be requested to attend two twenty-minute sessions per week, pending the child’s age and abilities.

We offer FREE TRANSPORT from identified nursery and primary (after school) schools in the Centurion area.

Operating hours:
Monday to Friday: 7am to 6pm
Saturday: 9am to 3pm

Mariaan Swim School has developed a unique monitoring and evaluation process to acknowledge and award each individual’s personal performance with a progress medal on a bi-annual basis. Performance certificates are also issued to school children, who are transported, at the end of remaining quarters.

Children are exposed to competitive swimming due to the arrangement of friendly galas.

Gauteng school terms are applicable, but the Swim School is closed during July of each year.

Children under two years of age normally need to be accompanied by a parent in the pool.
